2:00pm | Fort Hayes Carpentry: Wooden Garden Bench
Students of Fort Hayes will demonstrate the use of plans to assemble a wooden garden bench to completion. They will demonstrate the use various power tools. Lucky guests in the audience will have the opportunity to take home the piece made in the demonstration. | Instructor: Matthew Blake

3:00pm | PRO painting tips for the DIY painter Presented by Lowe’s
Featuring products from Sherwin Williams and Valspar. Learn how to paint like a PRO from surface prep to final application. The PRO'S will also discuss important considerations such as lighting and other factors that impact your space.

2:00pm | Fort Hayes Construction & Electricity: Basic Installation of 3-way Light Switch System
Students of Fort Hayes will demonstrate the wiring and installation of a 3-way light switch system using a single light switch. Students will demonstrate how to control a set of lights in two different locations. | Instructor: Ceron Williamson

3:00pm | Fort Hayes Bricklaying & Concrete Systems: Glass Block Window
Students of Fort Hayes will demonstrate the use of a plan to assemble a glass block window to completion. Students will demonstrate the use of materials and equipment to assemble the glass panel. | Instructor: Adam Viney

5:00pm | Small Engine Tune Up Basics Presented by Brian Novotny
Walk through a single or twin cylinder engine tune up step by step with discussions on terminology, troubleshooting and specifications. After this presentation you should feel comfortable in completing this annual service on your equipment and learn some best practices to prevent repairs. These engines are common on most lawn and garden equipment that are powered by gasoline and have separate fuel and oil reservoirs.

2:00pm | Fort Hayes NCCER: Basic Box
NCCER is the commonly used acronym for the National Center for Construction Education and Research. NCCER certification means that the holder is highly trained, knowledgeable, and qualified to do the job anywhere in the country. Students will demonstrate the use of plans to assemble a wooden box to completion. Students will use basic woodworking and construction skills and demonstrate the use of power tools, a router, and a power saw. | Instructor: Robert Knecht
