Camp Patmos
A Christian camp and retreat center on Kelleys Island for children going into 4th - 12th grades, with week-long camps running Mon - Sat. Camp Patmos is rich in island history. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend visitors have the opportunity to engage in activities at both the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village. Along with exploring our various exhibit spaces visitors have a chance to interact with various daily activities across the campus, including tours and object carts. On special days throughout the season visitors can also enjoy unique programs that dive into specific content. These include family-focused events like Storybook Village, a literacy-based exploration of historic fairy tales, and Crime & Corruption, which gives visitors a glimpse into some of the criminal elements present in the United States during the 1890s.
Ohio Wildlife Center wildlife-based nature camps offer a unique experience of getting up close to wildlife and back to nature. Our rustic climate controlled Bonner Barn will be a base camp hands-on nature and wildlife adventures. Your camper will explore parts of our 20 acre private sanctuary, visit and learn about our permanent Animal Ambassadors, and what they can do to help wildlife in their own backyard. Your favorite explorer will create nature crafts, go on hikes, help with animal care and create wild memories.
